| Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill Stalls |

It was announced today that the Republican House representatives now want a nationwide series of public meetings to be held in order to discuss the details of the proposed immigration bill that recently passed at the Senate level. Critics now argue that this will result in the bill not being passed at all before the November mid-term elections.
Democrats are left arguing that this is precisely what the hard-line Republicans wanted all along. We'll just have to wait and see as to what happens over the next few months.
